Alexander Schukin

My name is Alexander Schukin. For some years I have been working under the pseudonym "METEOROS", that means in translation from Greek " soaring above the ground ".

I define the style of my works as Expressionism. I am 26 years old, and I have not received special art education. I have already organized a number of personal exhibitions, namely: 2000 - " the Third eye of Siam ", 2002 - " Ideas for the night " 2002 – I became one of finalists of competition of young artists " Art 6x3 ", organized by the company " British American Tobacco ", 2004 - Exhibition organized together with Consulate of Germany in Saratov, devoted to Marlene Dietrich (using the techniques of graphic painting on photos).

My works are at present in private collections of the USA, Canada and Russia.
