Igor Revyakin
Igor Revyakin was born on August, 30th, 1957 in Moscow. He studied in the Moscow Aviation Institute. At the same time he attended Creative workshops of Alexander Sofohin (Moscow), and then classes in the New Academy of Fine Arts (Leningrad). Since 1989 Igor has been working as a professional artist. He created more than 400 works, participated in exhibitions in Moscow, San Francisco, Berlin, New-York. The artist had three personal exhibitions in Norfolk, the USA. Since 1995 he has been working as an artist in newspapers the "Moscow Times" and the "Capital" and in the publishing house the "Burda". In 2000 at the 12-th Cartoon Exhibition in Italy Igor received a special prize for the idea and technical skills. The artist is a top-finalist of the competition of cartoonists in Florida in 2001. In 2002 he received the third prize at the competition of caricatures in St.-Petersburg and Grand prix of the International Cartoon Festival in Rionegro, Colombia. Igor cooperated with the galleries "Mars" (Moscow) and Brooklyn gallery "Arts500" (New York).
