A. Akindinov is the youngest member of Regional Union of Artists in Ryazan, he joined the Union in 2001.
He was born in the town of Ryazan, Russia in 1977. From 1988 to 1993 he studied at Ryazan Art School. In 1989 he participated at the Regional Art Exhibition for Children “I paint the world”.
From 1993 to 1998 Alexei Akindinov was a student of the pedagogical department on painting at the Ryazan Art College.
At the Ryazan Art College he defined his own style of painting as Ornamentalism or Postavangard. Alexei believes that our world is the world of (electromagnetic) waves. The wave is nothing but a pattern. Pattern penetrates through space being a constant essence of any phenomenon. Pattern for him is a symbol of cosmos and infinity (endless space).
Alexei reflects the idea of pattern in his own way of painting, and his pictures look like carpets, he prefers painting in oil. He lays pattern on real objects, on a certain plot (contents), a landscape or a portrait, which he paints on the canvas.
Using decorative patterns Alexei looks at the world and the world seems to him more expressive and stereoscopic. The painter was greatly surprised when he noticed how the sense of patterns helps to understand the subject (theme) of the picture.
The artist does his best to create pictures. Since 1996 Alexei participates in all Art Exhibitions for the Young People, since 1998 he participates in Regional Art Exhibitions since 1999 he participates in “The All-Russian Art Exhibitions:
1999 – Russia - 9” in Moscow – “Manezh”;

2000 – “The Autumn in Boldino” in Moscow in the Central Painter’s House;

One can also see his pictures in private collections in Russia and Germany – at the Ryazan Art Museum, in the Moscow Art Gallery, in Stavropol, but most of his pictures are at his place (house). In 2001 his name is enlist in the book of the All – Russian Edition – “The Total Rating of Artist’s Skill”, (issue 4,5).
